Distance Learning

Elementary and Primary Distance Learning

Parents are encouraged to contact your students teacher to receive their instructions for Distance Learning.  Each Grade Level Distance Learning Plan will be different.

This instruction will be delivered to your home from a variety of tiered learning management systems. Ex.. TIER 1 students with internet and devices will do digital activities. TIER 2 students that have access to a cell phone will take pictures of their work and text or email it to teachers.  TIER 3 students with no internet access will complete paper packets.

Google Classroom, Wonders ELA, Moby Max, Soft Seven Math Race, Renaissance Reading and Math, Class Dojo Zoom Conferences, Facebook Live, and traditional packets are some examples of Alternative Methods of Instruction our teachers will use to deliver Distance Learning.

Grade Level Teams have participated in a week of professional development to create Distance learning plans that will best serve our students and help them continue to grow academically.

Beaver Elementary and Primary will do whatever it takes to communicate with you and keep your child’s needs at the front of every  decision.   Your child’s teacher will be available to  help you and work with you on any assignments or questions you may have.

Parents will be receiving a combination of personal phone calls, zoom conference calls, emails, class dojo messages etc… regarding instruction and future plans by our innovative teachers.

We appreciate you being understanding and working with us so well throughout this challenge we face.

The State Department of Education has sent us guidelines, frameworks, and assurances to help our district plan for you child’s academic grow and success during Distance Learning.  These resources are to guide and help our district plan for Distance Learning.  Decisions will be made at the local level.  Teachers have final say in their Distance Learning Plans.
