HAPPY HOMECOMING WEEK! Here is the Week-in-a-Glance for January 26th through January 31st. It's a DELIGHTFUL week to be a Duster!! Congratulations to the Homecoming Court!

BUFFALO TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Tomorrow's tournament (Friday, January 23rd) will start at 9:00 am. The 7th and 8th place games will NOT be played. The tournament will run early so pay close attention to the times and plan accordingly. The times between games will be shorter so games may start a little earlier than the schedule shows. BE SAFE traveling to and from as inclement weather comes in! As the teams loaded the bus this morning, a new player tried to board! We already have our own G-O-A-T's so he'll have to sit this one out.

Here are the updated Buffalo Basketball Tournament brackets amended for games to start tomorrow, Wednesday, January 21st continuing through Friday, January 23rd to account for possible winter weather coming in on Friday. The Lady Dusters will play on Wednesday at 5:00 pm vs Buffalo and the Dusters will play on Wednesday at 6:20 pm vs Buffalo.

And believe it or not, next week is Basketball Homecoming! Here are the dress up days for each day! It's a FUN day to be a Beaver Duster!

Here are the brackets for the HS Buffalo Basketball Tournament for next week starting on Thursday, January 22nd! There will be NO school on Friday, January 23rd.

For students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12: Beaver Public Schools will be administering the Oklahoma Prevention Needs Assessment (OPNA) Survey conducted by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) to all students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 on February 4, 2026. A student's participation is completely voluntary and confidential. Students and/or parents may opt themselves or their child out of taking the survey by indicating their wishes on the permission form being sent home this week. Please return the signed permission slip to your student's teacher indicating your permission for participation in the survey. The survey is available for review prior to the administration by contacting the school or going to this link: https://oklahoma.gov/odmhsas/prevention/schools/opna.html. Please contact Mrs. Weber at 625-3444 for any questions.

The 2026 senior class got to enjoy lunch and the arcade at Billy's today for having the best attendance in the first semester! ATTENDANCE MATTERS! Way to go seniors, keep showing up and keep working hard!

Little Duster Cheer Clinic sign up forms are due TOMORROW, Thursday, January 15th. The Cheer Clinic will be held on Thursday, January 29th in the Old Gym from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. The cost of the clinic is $30 - these proceeds will go to the Duster Cheer team for spirit supplies. Your little Duster Cheerleader will perform at the Varsity boys game on January 30 during halftime. This is always a lot of fun so get your forms turned in by tomorrow to guarantee a little cheer t-shirt! It's a GREAT day to be a DUSTER!

Oh how we love our amazing Principal, Mrs. Leisher! She loves our students and is always thinking of creative and fun ways to motivate and encourage students' attendance at school, which is so vital to their overall learning. The 3rd grade class had the best attendance the 1st semester so they got to silly string Mrs. Leisher! What a great day to be a Duster!! Way to go 3rd graders - keep it up - we are so proud of you!!

Picture re-take day will be Wednesday, January 7th from 8:45am-9:33am. This is for grades pre-k through 11th.
