It's a GREAT day for some Duster gear! 💛🖤🌪️

Yesterday was our last day of in-service and we were especially blessed to hear from two Beaver Duster legends, Mr. Roger Hilton (Class of 1969) and Mr. Brett Trippet (Class of 1984). They each shared words of encouragement that beautifully reminded us why we are Beaver Duster educators.
As we navigate positive changes ahead, they reminded us of the deep roots and rich traditions that make this school so special. They spoke of the many incredible educators who came before us--teachers who challenged, loved, encouraged and believed in generations of Dusters. Mrs. Melton, Mrs. Marilyn Gregg Meyer, Mr. & Mrs. Hinton to name just a few of so many. These are Beaver Duster icons whose influence reached far beyond their classrooms.
Mr. Hilton and Mr. Trippet were shaped by these remarkable educators, and they each went on to make a lasting difference in the lives of countless others.
The ripple effect is real--and it is powerful.
There is something special about the Beaver Duster tradition. It is strong. It runs deep. And it is something we carry with great humility and pride.
Yesterday, these two alumni reminded us that what we do matters. The encouragement we give, the standards we hold, the relationships we build and the love we show our students can leave an impact that reaches far beyond our own classrooms.
We are committed to carrying that tradition forward and pouring into the Dusters we have the privilege of serving each day.
It means something special to be a Beaver Duster.
It is something powerful to be an educator.
And we are honored to be both. 💛🖤
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Hilton and Mr. Trippet for sharing their wisdom, their stories and a glimpse into the possibilities that lie ahead for the students we encounter every day. Thank you sharing the morning with us!

'Twas the night before school, and throughout Beaver town,
The Dusters were ready to gather around.
The classrooms stood waiting, the hallways were bright,
For a brand-new adventure would start with daylight!
Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Brown would welcome Pre-K with care,
While Mrs. Watson in Kindergarten would meet young learners there.
Mrs. Smith in first grade had adventures in store,
And Mrs. Flanagan in second would open new doors.
Mrs. Cline in third grade, with lessons to share,
Mrs. Abbott and Mrs. Bridwell in fourth would be there.
With books, math and questions to spark every mind,
A wonderful year of discovery they'd find.
Mrs. Fish in the library would fill shelves with tales,
While Mrs. Noble would help students succeed without fail.
Mrs. Stewart with speech would help every voice grow,
With confidence, courage and plenty to show.
Mr. Regier would lead with both wisdom and cheer,
As principal and "everything" coach this year.
Mrs. Regier with ELA, the library and more,
Would inspire young Dusters to soar and explore.
Mrs. Weaver with math and cross country to run,
Mrs. Ramon with history and technology fun,
Mrs. Payne with science and questions to test,
And Coach Cline with PE--pushing all Dusters to do their best.
Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Dyer would bring music alive,
Mrs. Hayes with math and cheer would help spirits thrive.
Mrs. Scott, with English, would challenge each mind,
While Mrs. McVay with Home Ec taught practical finds.
Mr. Schlessman with science, Mr. Harrison with Ag,
and Mrs. Looper with history and English to add,
Would bring a special gift to the day,
Helping students discover their own unique way.
Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Harrison, and Mrs. Lawler stood near,
Our wonderful aides, always ready to cheer.
Mrs. Leisher would lead JH and high school with pride,
and Mrs. Weber, our counselor, would walk by each side.
Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Sharp at the desk,
Keep everything moving and handle big tasks.
Mrs. White with payroll works quietly behind,
Keeping everyone paid which we certainly don't mind!
Then there are the lunch ladies who make lunchtime shine,
Serving warm meals that are tasty and fine.
With trays, friendly smiles, and plenty to share,
Our cafeteria ladies show just how much they care.
Mr. Cates, Mr. Perry, Mrs. Sierra and Mrs. Guzman,
Keep our school in order with all that they can.
From early each morning till the last bell rings,
Their dedication makes a difference in countless things
And leading our district with purpose and care,
Superintendent Mr. Bell helps us all prepare.
From classroom to office, from fieldhouse to hall,
It takes every Duster to accomplish it all.
So tomorrow, when backpacks and footsteps resound,
and happy reunions take place all around,
May every student feel welcome, important and strong,
Knowing this place is where they truly belong.
May curiosity flourish, may friendships take flight,
May challenges turn into victories bright.
May teachers inspire and students pursue
The very best version of all they can do.
So here's to the lessons, the learning, the fun,
To new goals to chase and new races to run.
The Beaver Dusters are ready--together we stand,
With hearts full of purpose and teamwork at hand.
Goodnight to our Dusters, tomorrow's the day!
Let's learn, grow and shine in our own special way.
The halls will be buzzing, the school spirit strong--
Welcome back, Dusters--it's been too long!
(Kind of cheesy 😂, we know, but we are looking forward to seeing all of our sweet Dusters!!)
