The Beaver Duster Class of 2026 had their walk down "Duster Lane" this morning while looking forward to graduation on Saturday. Once a Duster, always a Duster 💛🖤🌪

Seniors "Duster Lane Walk" is this morning, May 11th, at 9:00am. We are proud of these seniors and their accomplishments! Parents and community members are welcome to join! Seniors will start at the Pre-K doors and make their way through the halls of the elementary and JH/HS. Congrats to our 2026 graduating class!

Parents, there will be an opportunity for students that are in 4th-6th grades to receive a sports physical at school. Camber Cline, with Southwest Medical, will be on campus tomorrow, May 11th at 8:30am. If you would like your child to receive one, please bring 15 dollars and come see Mrs. Ross at the elementary office to sign a permission slip. This is for any student-athlete that will be participating in sports for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

And last but not least: THANK YOU for the incredible homemade lunch our Duster tribe of parents made for all our teachers and staff today which also included a refreshing, fun Lemonade Bar 🍋! We simply cannot say THANK YOU enough for making us all feel so loved and special. ❤ We will say it again: we have the kindest-hearted group of parents and community members who are invested in the Beaver Dusters and want to support us in being the best we can be! Thank you for an AMAZING week and all the support and encouragement! It's a GREAT day to be a Duster! 🖤💛🌪

These Dusters can read well and play hard! This was the Reading Reward Party: bowling at Billy's Ayr Lanes, playing at the arcade and enjoying the rest of the day at Bluebonnet Park in Liberal, KS. Thank you to Mrs. Bridwell and Mrs. Fish for challenging the students to READ and read some more!

State Track and Golf SEND-OFF! Thank you to the Fire Department, EMS and community for sending our athletes off in style! It's a GREAT day to be a Duster! 🌪

Reminder, State send-off today, May 7th at 1:00pm for our state track qualifiers and state golf qualifier!! Students will be traveling down Douglas, so please help celebrate these amazing Dusters/Bobcats!!! Thank you for your continuing support of our school and our student-athletes!! 🖤💛🖤💚

And the kindness just doesn't stop because our Beaver Duster community of parents is so amazing! The McLemore Family & group of parents hosted an Ice Cream Sundae Bar for all the teachers and staff today 🍨 We feel truly spoiled...it's like we are kids again with these ice cream sundaes and Root Beer floats! Thank you to all involved in making this magic happen!

We appreciate your kindness in providing lunch for all the Beaver Duster teachers & staff 💛🖤 (and thank you to Mrs. Leisher for hanging out in the cafeteria so the elementary teachers could enjoy this lunch together!) We sure feel the love!

THANK YOU to Mrs. McVay's Comprehensive Health class for treating the JH & HS teachers and support staff to a special lunch yesterday - WOW...these Dusters can cook! We are so grateful for their cooking skills and especially their thoughtfulness. Check out the menu----need I say more? It was DELICIOUS!!

NEW RECORDS SET!! We had 3 JH track athletes break multiple JH school records this year! Congratulations to Noah Cantrell for breaking the 400m dash record with an official time of 55.48. The previous record was held by Jesus Gonzalez in 2015. Noah also broke the 800m record with a time of 2:11.03. That record was previously held by Josh Malone in 2003. Kree Weaver also broke two school records in both the 100 hurdles and the 200 meters. Kree ran a 17.16 in the hurdles breaking the record held by Catie Rife/Rivera in 2007 and a 27.32 in the 200m breaking the record of Kara James set in 2003. Sage Rivera broke the JH girls shot put record with a throw of 32’3”. That record was previously held by Candace Covel in 2001! Congratulations you three and thank you to the previous record holders that set such a high standard of success for our current athletes to chase!

Congratulations to Harli Bell, Joel Ruiz, Addison Standley, and Ximena Garza on qualifying for the state meet in OKC this weekend! Joel will be running the 100m and 200m, Addison will be running the 200m, Ximena will be competing the disc and Harli will be long jumping! Congratulations to you all and good luck this weekend!

Look at this great looking Beaver Duster crew: On April 29th, Beaver students in 3rd and 4th grade had the opportunity to go to the H2Oklahoma Water Festival at Beaver Dunes Park. Students spent the day outdoors with the Oklahoma Conservation Commission to explore water science, conservation, and Oklahoma’s natural resources through hands-on activities. Volunteers presented 9 different stations to educate students from the Panhandle and spark questions, ideas, and curiosity about the role water plays in our environment and communities. 💦💛🖤
