Now that the dust has settled from school starting...I mean literally, we are the Beaver Dusters .....🌪️😂...we want to rewind and give some HUGE Duster Thank you's for the kindness shown to our teachers as they prepared for the start of school. The Bank of Beaver City hosted a wonderful lunch from Hunny's BBQ in partnership with the Beaver United Methodist Church. The First Baptist Church in Beaver provided lunch for us another day. We are so grateful and blessed to live in a supportive and happy community! THANK YOU!! We are PROUD to be BEAVER DUSTERS!!! 🖤💛🌪️

Growing Stronger Readers at Beaver Elementary! 📚 Today, the teachers at Beaver Elementary participated in an exciting day of professional learning with our own Oklahoma Literacy Initiative consultant, Kay Cabiniss. Our staff had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Science of Reading, the Simple View of Reading, and the Reading Brain. We continue to learn, grow, and strengthen our instructional practices so we can provide our students with the very best literacy instruction possible. The Oklahoma Literacy Initiative is designed to strengthen literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading and the Strong Readers Act through: ✨ Coaching ✨ Professional Learning ✨ Collaboration ✨ Implementation Support We are grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside one another and continue building the knowledge and skills needed to help every student become a confident, capable reader! 📖❤️

📢 NEW PRE-K–8TH GRADE PICK-UP & DROP-OFF PROCEDURES 📢

Beginning Tuesday, August 25th, Beaver Public Schools will begin using our NEW pick-up and drop-off procedures for Pre-K through 8th Grade students.

📍 Please carefully review the attached images for directions showing the new entrances, exits, designated pick-up/drop-off areas, and each grade level entrance.

⏰ Morning Drop-Off
Staff members will be outside and ready to assist students beginning at 7:40 a.m.

🚗 IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Please DO NOT park in the drop-off lane and walk your student all the way to the door. Keeping the lane clear will help traffic continue to move safely and efficiently during morning drop-off.

We know a new routine may take a few days for everyone to get used to, and we greatly appreciate your patience, cooperation, and attention to the new traffic flow as we work to make arrival and dismissal as safe and smooth as possible for our students, families, and staff.

A special THANK YOU to Bryer Paving, 4 Carr’s Pavement Marking, and JP Construction for their hard work in helping us improve our pick-up and drop-off areas. We greatly appreciate the time and work put into making these improvements possible!

We would also like to thank Police Chief John Kiley for providing the aerial photographs used to help us clearly communicate the new procedures.
